Substation Upgrade
New York State Office Building Campus
Albany, NY
The New York State Office of General Services retained RobsonWoese to investigate and design the expansion of its 115 kV electrical substation to serve SEMATECH and other clients. The substation is the heart of the power supply serving the Albany NanoTech Center, the SUNY Albany campus, and the W.A. Harriman State Office Campus. RW analyzed, inspected, and designed a Phase I substation upgrade including a motor operated disconnect, circuit switch, 15/20/25 mVA transformer, and metal clad switchgear lineup with 15 kV circuit breakers.
